Saham.US is operated by Equistra Corporation (“Equistra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide stock market research, data, and related tools through saham.us. This statement explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit the website or use its services. It applies to users in the United States, including Delaware residents, and to users elsewhere.
1. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Saham.US:
- Account and contact information: Your name, email address, authentication information, and messages you send us. You may sign in with Google or with an email address and password.
- Research and preference information: Watchlists, customized screener filters, saved preferences, and information you enter into other account features.
- Operational information: IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device details, and technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
- Subscription information: Your plan, billing status, and transaction details. Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions. Payment card details entered through Stripe’s payment process are handled by Stripe.
Our financial analytics, including Market Regime, Factor Lens, Event Studies, and screener rankings, are calculations about markets and securities. They are not analytics services that track users’ behavior.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to provide the service; authenticate users; save watchlists, filters, and preferences; manage subscriptions; send essential transactional emails; respond to requests; maintain security; resolve technical problems; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Cookies, tracking, and browser signals
Saham.US may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to sign users in, maintain a secure session, and remember preferences. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may prevent account features from working.
We do not display third-party advertisements or use advertising pixels, advertising networks, or third-party behavioral analytics services. Saham.US does not place third-party tracking cookies or use fingerprinting to follow users across other websites or services.
Saham.US does not engage in cross-site tracking or targeted advertising. As a result, our data practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal or an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control: there is no cross-site tracking or targeted advertising for the signal to disable.
4. How we share information
We share information with service providers only as needed for the functions described below:
Firebase and Google Cloud Identity handle authentication information, account identifiers, and, as applicable, your watchlists, filters, and saved preferences, so we can sign you in, protect your account, and store your account features.
Stripe receives the information needed for billing, subscription status, and transaction records, so we can process payments and manage subscriptions.
SendGrid receives your email address and the information needed for an essential message, so we can send transactional emails such as email verification.
Where applicable, infrastructure and security providers receive the information needed to host, maintain, and secure the service, so we can operate and protect Saham.US.
We may also disclose information when legally required, when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of the business. If you choose to visit another company’s website or use its service, its own privacy practices apply to information you provide there.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send users’ personal information to external generative AI providers. Saham.US’s quantitative research outputs are generated through our own models and infrastructure.
5. Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide Saham.US and meet legitimate security, recordkeeping, and legal requirements. Retention periods depend on the information and why it was collected.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
6. Your privacy choices and requests
You can update information available in your account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email hello@saham.us with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. You do not need to create an account solely to make a request.
We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. We will explain if a requested right does not apply or if we must retain particular information for a legal, security, or other permitted purpose. Deleting an account may prevent you from using account features.
Delaware residents: Where the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act applies to our processing, you may also request a portable copy of your personal data and information about the third parties to which it has been disclosed. We will ordinarily respond within 45 days and notify you if a permitted extension is needed.
If we decline a privacy request, we will explain the reason. You may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing hello@saham.us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will ordinarily respond to an appeal within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Delaware Department of Justice at privacy@delaware.gov.
We do not sell personal data, use it for targeted advertising, or use personal data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Consequently, there is no such processing to opt out of. We will update this statement and provide any required choices before introducing these practices.
7. International processing
Your information may be processed in a country other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate measures for international transfers.
8. Children
Saham.US is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at hello@saham.us.
9. Changes to this statement
We may update this statement as our services or practices change. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice of material changes through the website or by email where appropriate or required.
